Hello movie friends,
As you might have noticed, the blog went through a complete re-design. I hope you will like it; I always try to keep improving. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Another big news – you will see some ads pop up. The reason is simple – to cover the cost of running the blog. And I want to try and do this on a more professional level. It’s always been my dream to talk movies for a living. I know, it’s a wild one, but hey, man’s gotta have dreams and aspirations. 😉 That means earning a coin or two. Rest assured, if I earn anything, it will go back to the blog to cover the domain, hosting, all that good stuff. 😉 I have tried to have not so many ads, so you would still be able to see the posts. I hope you won’t find them too distracting.
I am toying with the idea of getting Patreon, but I am still hesitant – is that something anyone would be willing to sign up for? With the perks of getting my reviews ahead of time, possibly some perk where you can select what I need to watch and then review next…? Please let me know in the poll below.
The last bit of “update” – I am also thinking about starting a podcast where I would be talking about anything, not just movies (but mainly movies, because let’s face it :-)) but I don’t think I would want to do it just myself, so this idea is still in a very early stage. But again, any feedback on this from you, my readers, would be greatly appreciated.
And last but not least, by any stretch of the imagination – I need to thank you, lovely people. I can see my stats and people reading my reviews, and I can’t thank you enough for that. Everything I am doing, I am doing for people like you and me. Fans who love movies and want to discuss them. I still can’t comprehend that a few people seem to be enjoying reading my stuff. Thank you, thank you, times 3 million (too soon?)
